The enterprises in Xylokastro
According the research that was made by 2nd
Junior Secondary School of Xylokastro during the school year 2006 -2007 and in
the frame of Program of Education of Career, the enterprises in
Xylokastro amount in 450, all are Small. The enterprises which belong to
women are 133.
The women deal mainly with the Tertiary Sector and
particularly with the tourism, the trade specially in types of
clothing, goods of gifts,
cosmetics, jewels.
In education, women have mainly tuition centres of Foreigner
Languages.
